Your MAC address and device key
When you open CR7 Player, the start screen shows a MAC address (a code like 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E) and a device key. These are the two codes people mean when they search for the CR7 Player code.
The developer's site explains that each TV has two MAC addresses: one for Wi-Fi and one for the network cable. If you switch from Wi-Fi to cable, the app shows a new MAC address and you need to activate that one.
How to activate and add a playlist
- 1
Open the device login page
On a phone or computer, open the official CR Player website and choose the option to activate or manage your device.
- 2
Sign in with your codes
Enter the MAC address and the device key from the app.
- 3
Add your playlist
Choose to add a playlist. Paste the M3U link from our email, or choose Xtream Codes and enter the server URL, username and password. Save.
- 4
Restart the app
Close CR7 Player completely and open it again. Your channels, movies and series load from our service.
Trial and licence
Every new device gets a 7 day free trial. After that, the app needs a licence from the developer's own store. In October 2026 the official store listed a lifetime licence for €8. The developer states that purchases are not refunded, so use the trial first.
The licence only unlocks the app. It does not include channels. For channels you need an IPTV plan, which is what CR7IPTV sells.
Changing or removing a playlist
Sign in to the device page again with the same MAC address and device key. From there you can edit the playlist, add a second one or delete an old one. Restart the app to load the changes.
