The app does not open or stays on a black screen
- Check that the TV is connected to the internet. The developer says this is the first thing to check when the app does not start.
- Unplug the TV for 30 seconds, plug it back in and open the app again.
- Update your TV software and the app, if an update is offered.
Playlist not loading
- Check that the playlist was saved on the device page of the CR Player website, using the same MAC address the app shows now.
- Check the M3U link or Xtream Codes details for typing mistakes. Copy and paste them from our email.
- Make sure your IPTV plan or trial is still active.
- Restart the app after any change to the playlist.
Buffering, freezing or 'Unable to stream'
- Test your internet speed. We suggest at least 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K.
- Use a network cable instead of Wi-Fi if you can.
- In the app settings, switch the video engine between VLC and ExoPlayer.
- If the playlist works on a computer but not on the TV, the developer says this is usually an internet provider block or a stream format your TV model does not support.
- Message us on WhatsApp with the channel name. We check the stream on our side.
MAC address changed or trial expired
If the app suddenly shows a new MAC address, you probably switched between Wi-Fi and cable. Activate the new one on the website.
If the app says the trial has ended, it needs a licence from the developer. That is separate from your IPTV plan.
No TV guide
CR7 Player has no built-in guide. It shows the guide only when the playlist provides one. Our Xtream Codes login includes guide data, so use Xtream Codes instead of the M3U link if the guide is missing.
